The history of Shinryo Corporation began in this field with Senri New Town District Heating and Cooling System, which was the first in Japan. We have proven success in district heating and cooling systems such as in Minato Mirai District, area surrounding Tokyo Station, and area surrounding Nagoya Station that has earn us the top share in Japan. In recent years, we are contributing to the optimization of the energy supply by engaging in renovations that realize dramatic energy savings and large scale district cooling plants in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

District Heating and Cooling Systems to Realize the Optimization of Energy Supply

Conventional heat source systems

General heat source systems install heat source equipment such as a chiller and boiler in each building to produce cold water and steam (hot water) for cooling and heating.

District Heating and Cooling Systems

District Heating and Cooling Systems are a heat source plant that installs chillers and boilers for a group of neighboring buildings centrally for heating and cooling in district units. The cold water and steam (hot water) produced by the heat source plant is supplied to each building through regional pipes built inside the district to use for cooling and heating.
