In August 2016, SHINRYO (MALAYSIA)SDN.BHD., which is an affiliate of SHINRYO CORPORATION, was awarded the contract for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning for Utilities Gebeng (UG) Cogeneration Expansion at Gebeng, Pahang, Malaysia.

This project consists of the installation of one train of Cogeneration System (35MW Gas Turbine Generator and 120ton/h Heat Recovery Steam Boiler with Supplementary Firing) at existing Plant located at Gebeng, Pahang, which is 250km from Kuala Lumpur.
